Operation Gratitude was founded by Carolyn Blashek after the tragic events of 9/11. The organization sends care packages to service members deployed in harm's way. Operation Gratitude lifts morale and puts smiles on their faces by delivering CD's/DVD's, snack foods, and phone cards, as well as basic everyday items like socks, hats, gloves, deodorant, toothpaste, and toothbrushes. All these donated items let our troops know we appreciate their service.

Operation Gratitude is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, non-partisan, volunteer-based corporation, funded entirely by private donations. For safety and security, the assembling of all packages occurs at the Army National Guard Armory in Van Nuys, California.
